Social Welfare Secretary Judy Taguiwalo requested the arrival of P5,000 in crisis shield help (ESA) to every poor family influenced by Supertyphoon “Lawin” (global name: Haima) in northern Luzon.

In a notice round she issued on Saturday, Taguiwalo coordinated field workplaces of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to give out a uniform measure of ESA until further notice. The adjust will be discharged after the nearby governments and the DSWD field workplaces have approved the number of harmed houses.
The DSWD should give out an ESA adding up to P30,000 each to families whose homes were pulverized by a debacle and P10,000 to those whose homes were harmed.  [source]
