JUST IN: South Korea’s Hyundai to build 2 brand new warships for PH Navy
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines marked an agreement with South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to manufacture two fresh out of the plastic new frigates for the Philippine Navy.
The marking finishes the P16-billion (roughly $325 million) bargain started by the Aquino organization, one of the first-class buys intended to bulk up the nation’s ability to watch the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea).
The organization of President Rodrigo Duterte proceeded with the venture, which is the primary military contract to be inked under his organization.
Resistance Secretary Delfin Lorenzana declared the news on Twitter Monday night, October 24.
