The Japanese Embassy in Manila confirmed on Tuesday that it has received information about a possible terror attack in some Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines.

However, the embassy declined to provide further information at the moment.

“We issued a warning to alert Japanese people residing in some Southeast Asian countries, but we cannot disclose the source,” the embassy said.

Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs said it has not been officially informed about the matter.

“Travel alerts for a country’s citizens are usually not officially notified to other countries, however, this type of information may have been shared among intelligence agencies,” DFA said. Full story here: https://bit.ly/3AhlDC4 | via PhilSTAR Life
