LCS finals rematch goes according to script at MSI 2023

In a rematch of the 2023 LCS Spring Split finals, Cloud9 sent Golden Guardians packing from this year’s League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational. C9 won today’s series 3-1, the exact score by which they won the LCS finals and booked their ticket to the tournament as NA’s top seed last month. 

This weekend’s MSI action saw several of its second-round bracket matchups feature rematches of domestic finals. The only one to go in a different direction was the LCK rematch in the upper bracket between Gen.G and T1, which T1 won 3-2 after losing 3-1 in their spring finals matchup.
