Battlefield 6 challenge overhaul makes the grind easier, but fans say it misses the point

The Battlefield Team of EA and DICE are showing they’re paying attention to feedback with a major Battlefield 6 challenge overhaul, drastically reducing the grind needed to complete them.

In a BF6 Community Update released on Nov. 5, the developers announced over 90 adjustments to make challenges and assignments more achievable, without removing the sense of skill-based progression. According to them, the update is “guided by gameplay data and your feedback,” streamlining requirements so players can finish challenges faster while still feeling rewarded for consistent, skillful play.
