Hogwarts Legacy sequel reportedly exploring multiplayer features

The 2023 hit Hogwarts Legacy may be getting a free-to-play sequel—and that’s not all. A new job listing from Warner Bros. suggests the next entry could also feature multiplayer elements.

First spotted by GameRant, the listing seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join WB Games’ team of “talented industry veterans working on a new online multiplayer RPG.” Adding to the speculation, a separate job posting from Avalanche Software, which has now been taken down, was recruiting a Director of Design with “experience with free-to-play or games-as-a-service models” for an online multiplayer RPG.
