Social Media online campaign to rename NAIA back to MIA, gets positive responses from netizens

A campaign on Facebook requesting to rename the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) back to Manila International Airport (MIA) has been making rounds online.

It is not clear who started the venture but rather Facebook users have really been sharing posters that they support the request.

Netizens expressed NAIA must dispose of its “curse” as one of the most exceedingly terrible airplane terminals by returning it to its old name.
